Hello, I am Sapphire Desiree, and I'm going to tell you a story of love, intensity, lies, and darkness. This is the story of how everything I had turned to ash. I was eight years old when it all started. My family from My dad's side and my mom's side were coming over for a big family reunion. My mom was baking cookies in the oven, and my dad was cooking steak on the barbecue. It was a cloudy day, but the cold weather made up for it. Someone knocked at the door, it was the last of the family, grandma and grandpa. I went over to open the door for them, and welcomed them in politely. My dad had just finished the steak, and was putting it out on the table, along with forks and knives. Everyone sat at the table and mom left the cookies in to bake longer. We held hands at the table and said grace, I still remember grandpa's speech. "Tonight, we celebrate love, family, and life. The people who were lost, have only just been found. True happiness is the only thing that keeps us alive. Neither fire, nor rain, or the most deathly of things can bring us down. Family, are people who will always love each other, even if the worst of things happen. Now, lets bring meaning to the words love, and family." 

After dinner, mom got up to check on the cookies and they were on fire, along with the kitchen. I heard a loud scream coming from the kitchen, it was mom. A large piece of wood fell from the ceiling onto mom. when I saw what had happened and I screamed! Dad came over to help get the wood off of mom, I saw blood all over mom's stomach, head, and legs. Dad had blood on his hands from getting the off of her. By the time all the family members had scattered around the house, the whole entire house was on fire and falling apart. Pieces of amber flew in the air and scorched many family members. Twenty-five family members had already died. An hour later, all the family members were dead or dying. Dad and I took mom's bloody body outside to give her air. "Daddy, what's happening to mommy!?" I cried. "Mommy's dying honey, we are giving her as much air as we can." Dad said as calm as he could with tears in is eyes. "I...l...love you...g...guys" Mom said as she took her last breath of life. "NO!" I screamed as dad and I hovered over her life-less body. We stayed there crying for over ten hours. Dad and I gathered as much money as we could, we ended up with 1,000,000,000. We gathered money from everywhere we could. About a week later, our friend Josie bought us a house in the middle of a forest in Canada. We buried moms body in the backyard and stayed with her for hours.
