It was very crowded at King's Cross Station. The first of September had come, and Luna Lovegood was wandering around be platform 10. She had been warned by her father about the wrackspurt infestation, and so had decided to wear her spetrespecs. This was her first year at Hogwarts, and Luna was very excited. She was hoping to be sorted into Ravenclaw house, but she was not too worried. She had been avoiding running through to the platform, but it was time to go. She slowly approached the wall, and bravely ran through. The scarlet engine appeared, and it was even more magnificent than in her daydreams. As she slowly boarded the train and struggled through the crowd, everyone around her stared. She looked around to see what was so interesting, but found that they were looking at her. This did not upset her, as she loved to make people laugh. She found a compartment near the middle with only a few people in it. Luna sat down, and her first year of school began.
