There are different types of food and treats for different cat's needs and breeds.
In my opinion, Dreamies are the best treats for cats. Ironically, some dogs like Dreamies too.
Dry Food
10% moisture
Dry food can be kept longer when opened. Cats don't eat dry food very quickly so they don't get sick.
Semi-Moist Food
40-50% moisture
The cat will need less supplementary water than dry food.
Canned Food
75-85% moisture
Dries and spoils if not eaten straight away. Supplementary biscuits provide exercise for the jaw.
