Chapter 2

Saron's mother, Shike, fled from her home planet, Vulcan, after her parents forbid her from ever leaving the planet. She came to earth and met Sam Smith, a very positive and kind human man, and she abandoned her emotional control and fell in love with him. They were married and had a child, a daughter which they named Saron, and Shike decided to stay on Earth to raise her. When Saron was only 6 years old, Shike developed a fatal Earth disease and died from it 5 years later when Saron turned 11. Shike had left behind her book of "The Teachings of Surak" to give to Saron so she would be able to live life like a Vulcan. That same year, Saron's Hogwarts letter came because Sam was a Squib but he never told her about it because he was not sure if she would have magic or not, and he wanted to give her time to mourn her mother. He finally decided to give it to her when she was 13 and she went to Hogwarts that September and was sorted into Ravenclaw.

Even before Shike came to Earth, Sam was close friends with a woman named Andrea. Around the time that Sam met Shike, Andrea wanted to have a child of her own very badly but did not want to get married. She asked Sam to donate so that she could have a child. He agreed because he was her friend and she had a baby boy and named it Michael. Andrea made Sam the Godfather of him but never told Michael he was his real father. A year later, Sam is Married to Shike, and a year after that, they had Saron. Saron and Michael grew up being good friends, never knowing they were half-siblings. A year after Shike died, Michael's mother passed away and Sam adopted Michael, well also telling Saron he was her brother. Michael also went to Hogwarts with Saron and was sorted into Hufflepuff.
