What Is Psychic?

Derived from the Greek wordpsychikos(mental)
and refers to the psychic turmoil or human mind. The Greek word also means
soul. French astronomer and spiritualist Camille Flammarion is
credited as having first used the word psychic, while it was later introduced
to the English language by Edward William Cox in the 1870s.
There are a lot of alleged psychic abilities that
have been attributed to the witches and wizards over the centuries. It varies
widely from Apparition, Levitation to the complex and powerful Divination. I
will discuss some of these later.
In general, a psychic is a person who claims to have
the supernatural ability to perceive information hidden from the normal
senses through extrasensory perception or to manipulate objects with
supernatural mental power.
