Dobby was the Malfoy family house elf. In Harry Potter’s 2nd year her went to his house to warn him of horrible things that are gonna happen at Hogwarts. He tried very hard but in the end didn’t succeed. Harry Potter helped free him. In Harry’s 4th year for the 2nd triwizard task Dobby stole gillyweed for him. In Harry’s 5th year Dobby helped Harry find a spot to host the D.A. In Harry’s 6th year Dobby along with Kreacher tailed Draco Malfoy. When Harry,Ron, and Hermione were taken to Malfoy manor, Dobby came and saved them. He died doing so and was buried in shell cottage.
