Alastor Moody more commonly known as Mad Eye Moody, was an auror. He had a magical eye and a wooden stump for a leg. He helped put many f the death eaters in Azkaban. He was part of the Order of the Phoenix and died in the battle of 7 Harry's when Mundungus apparated away. During the triwizard tournament he was tarpped in his own trunk and impersonated by a death eater the whole year. He was very close with Tonks, who was heartbroken at his death.
