Cedric Diggory was a hufflepuff at Hogwarts, team captain and seeker for the quidditch team. He was Cho Chang’s boyfriend and loved by many. He entered the triwizard tournament and figured out the egg puzzle, giving Harry a clue as to how to use it. In the final event, he grabbed the trophy with Harry, thinking that’s what they had to do to win. Instead, it was a portkey that took them both to the graveyard. Voldemort ordered for him to be murdered and he was killed by the killing curse in the graveyard.
