Viktor Krum; Biography
Viktor was born sometime between May and August 1976. After spending his childhood years in Bulgaria, he joined the Durmstrang Institute. Although we do not know much about his childhood years, we do know that Viktor is one of the last people to buy wands from a wand shop called Gregorovitch Zauberstäbe. Shortly after Viktor received his wand, Mykew Gregorovitch retired and closed in his shop.
During his school years, Viktor came across many symbols that he thought belonged to Gellert Grindelwald but were certainly symbols of the Deathly Hallows. Many students saw these symbols engraved on the walls and drew them on their books, notebooks and clothes. Since Viktor's grandfather was murdered by Grindelwald, he suffered a lot of insults. Viktor and some of his friends have shown all students that this is wrong.
Although Viktor is still in school, he was accepted into the Bulgarian National Quidditch Team and gladly joined the team. He made his name in history as one of the best Quidditch players in the world in a short time. In 1994, he played in the Quidditch World Cup, and helped Bulgaria reach the final against the Irish National Quidditch team. Even the fans of Ireland occasionally cheered on him. In the last game, he tricked the seeker of the opposing team and knocked him to the ground. But the Bulgarians were in a bad situtaion and even though Krum was injured, he caught Snitch in order to finish the match.
Viktor, who is good at Transfiguration, is also very good with Dark Arts, although he is not the Dark Wizard. He is also a duelist.
Viktor Krum arrived at Hogwarts in Harry's fourth year and was selected as a contender for three wizarding tournaments. Viktor, a very gentle person, was impressed by Harry's flight and upset that Cedric Diggory died at the end of the tournament.
