Be a witch/wizard at home! (DIY)

DIY: HOGWARTS HOUSE-THEMED NOTEBOOK

This is a super easy and quick DIY to decorate your boring notebook and embrace your house pride. You can use any plain notebook for this.

Other than a notebook you will need:
- Scissors
- A computer and a printer
- acrylic paint (in your house colours)
- Paint brushes
- Glue stick
- Washi tape

1. First thing you're going to need to do is print your Hogwarts house crest. You can search the internet for a house crest picture of your chosen house and print it, make sure to adjust the size it so it will fit on your notebook. (5x6 cm is a good size).
2. Next thing to do is cut out your house crest and just place it on one of the corners of the notebook- don't stick it on yet.
3. Now, grab your tape, depending on how thick you want your lines to be you might need to cut the tape. Create a pattern you want with the tape (see the pattern on the image above) and make sure to leave space for your house crest wherever you place it.
4. Get your paint and brsuhes out, it's time to put some color on this notebook. Fill in the spaces in your pattern with your chosen house colors.
5. Remove the tape as soon as you're done painting, DON'T let the paint dry first. Once you've removed the tape it's time to glue on your housecrest that you've already cut out. Let it all dry for a little while and your new Harry Potter themed notebook is ready to be used.
