The most exciting part of my childhood would be going on holiday with my uncle. These were the times we would spend together, alone. Very few people knew that he even had a niece. We would go away for our usual holiday to Cork to collect supplies from a shop there it was a pub that was run by a witch and we went to visit. We got to know her very well in the end. (She is the one that is the book Returned).

Ireland holds a special place in my heart. After my uncle died it is one of the places I went and one of the places that Charlie found me on my travels. I went there to remember him.

We have visited and may visit again on occasion. One day life may not be quite as hectic. The rest of Ire-land is also said to be nice though we never got to visit. There is a giant’s causeway that I have never been to but would very much like to see. They say it is made from the steps of real giants.

When we go to Ireland it is always cold, wet and windy. But I love it all the same. It was always a beautiful place with great memories with my uncle. Precious together time is what I would call it.
