~Prologue~
Chapter 1
Scarlett Grey was a young teenage girl, of the age 14. Her hair was long, dark, and silky. If she were to pass by you, the soft wind that would hit you would smell of sweet cherry blossoms and creamy shea butter lotion. Her eyes were a piercing shade of blue, and her irises would glitter in the dawning sun of a late fall. If you looked closely at her smooth cheeks, you would notice that her skin was dotted with freckles that dotted under her eyes and on her nose. Scarlett was enchanting, and one would think that she was a normal eighth grade girl. Long before her hair was long and the tips of each strand touched her shoulders, she went by another name. Ian Grey. Not the most authentic name for a girl, agreed? But it was considered normal because her pronouns were he, him, and his. Ian was a young teenage boy. Scarlett was a strong, young woman.
