Once upon a very long time ago

Chapter 1
Once upon a long time ago there lived an all but forgotten child, A magical child. She lived with two very strange people. A man and a woman, neither of whom she trusted in the slightest. She thought of them to be her parents and thought nothing strange about it other than she looked very different to them and the others in the family. Not one person in the family accepted her and she felt lonely, rejected and shunned.

One day the family were taken for a blood test but the blood of child did not match the blood of the parents She thought perhaps she had been adopted and not told had she been stolen? She didn’t know what to think.
She travelled to England, the place of her birth (supposedly) and asked at Police Centres, Adoption Agencies, anything that she could think of that might give her some sort of information. At one Criminal Agency they managed to identify her as being British on her Paternal side and British/Israeli on her Maternal side. She was astounded. How could all of this come from her DNA she had thought of herself of Scandinavian descent her whole life.

She searched for common DNA relatives and what she found astounded her even more. After 6 weeks of searching she found a match on an online database. She had a notification on an email but then something very strange transpired.

She received a knock at the door from a genealogist. Confusion struck her for a moment but, the man explained that he specialised in DNA and had found her parents. Tears started to roll down her cheeks. I’m afraid he said that I have little to go on at the moment. This would all depend on if you wanted to continue your search for your biological parents and of course if they in turn want to find you, he explained. Hesitantly she said, yes I want them to know I’m ok and that I’m Happy and healthy and… she her voice trailed off.

If they don’t want to see me then that’s fine but I’d like to meet them. Do you know if I have siblings?
I don’t believe you have siblings but I think you have half siblings. He browsed various notes. She seemed happy with this information as she had always lived as an only child. Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents various cousins he implored but once I speak to your parents I will be able to talk to you more. Perhaps a meeting of some sort.
I’d like that she smiled. Thank you so much.
