“Alright, so we have Defense Against The Dark Arts, Potions, and Herbology together.” I told Hermione, both of us walking to class with a stack of books in our hands. “It’s good to see you, Sara.” She smiled. “How’s Draco?” She asked. “Great! He gave me this yesterday.” I wiggled my fingers, the promise ring glinting in the light. “That’s sweet. Harry thinks Draco is a Death Eater.” Hermione said. “That’s stupid.” I lied easily. “Right? I mean, he’s really mean sometimes, but that doesn’t mean he is a Death Eater!” She said. “Plus, he is very nice to you.”
I smiled weakly. I hated lying to Hermione. Then we arrived at Potions with Professor Slughorn.
