MAGIZOOLOGY
Hello everyone, welcome to another special edition of Dragons where you will be getting to know everything about dragons, so in this issue we will learning the spells that effect dragons and Dragon reserves.
SPELLS THAT EFFECT DRAGONS
Do you know what a Hogwarts library book said about a dragon?
"Dragons are extremely difficult to slay, owing to the ancient magic that imbues their thick hides, which none but the most powerful spells can penetrate..."
While dragon skin can resist most spells, such as a single Stunning Spell, certain strategies may be employed to circumvent the strength of their hides.
SPELLS AND THEIR EFFECTS:
1. Conjunctivitis Curse : While dragons resist most spells due to their hide, their eyes are their weakest point, and as such, the Conjunctivitis Curse, which causes irritation in the eyes, remains effective towards them. In the Triwizard Tournament of 1994, Durmstrang champion Viktor Krum used this curse on a dragon, with satisfying results.
2. Stunning Spell : Like most creatures with spell resistance, the use of multiple spells at once can override their immunity. In the Triwizard Tournament of 1994, Charlie Weasley and several other dragonologists used multiple Stunning Spells to successfully subdue several dragons.
3. Bewitched sleep : Fleur Delacour succeeded in putting a Common Welsh Green into a trance during the Triwizard Tournament.
DRAGON RESERVES
Did you know that dragon reserves are not made to protect us from dragons but to protect dragons from us ...
RESERVES
• Romanian Dragon Sanctuary : Home to several types of dragons. Charlie Weasley works and studies dragons here.
• Chinese Dragon Sanctuary : Home to Chinese Fireballs.
• Hebrides : The MacFusty Clan cares for their dragons here.
• Wales : Hidden in the higher mountains.
• Swedish dragon reservation : Between Arjeplog and Kopparberg. The annual broom race goes right through there.
• Norwegian Dragon Sanctuary : Home to Norwegian Ridgeback.
So, I hope you enjoyed, the next edition will be the last Weekly magic special edition of Dragons and in the next, that is in the final edition we will learn about Kinds (Breeds) of dragons. Till then let the magic be with you.
