Top 5 Romance Books (Book Recommendation)

Chapter 12
Welcome! Today I’ll be doing Top 5 Romance Books!

I decided to do this because I am a stickler for a good romance. If you have read any of these let me know if you liked them as well!

5. Twilight-

Plot: About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him—and I didn't know how dominant that part might be—that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight is a love story with bite.

Spoiler-Free Review: Okay, before you come at me I just want to say this series is not as bad as you think. The first and last are the best, third is second best and the second book is dead last. These do have a pretty good storyline and it’s something a lot of people reference so it’s worth reading.

4. Eleanor & Park-

Plot: Eleanor is the new girl in town, and with her chaotic family life, her mismatched clothes and unruly red hair, she couldn't stick out more if she tried

Park is the boy at the back of the bus. Black T-shirts, headphones, head in a book - he thinks he's made himself invisible. But not to Eleanor... never to Eleanor.

Slowly, steadily, through late-night conversations and an ever-growing stack of mix tapes, Eleanor and Park fall for each other. They fall in love the way you do the first time, when you're young, and you feel as if you have nothing and everything to lose.
Spoiler-Free Review: Eleanor & Park started off great but I got a bit bored by the end. I do have to say I enjoyed it though.

3. The Fill-In Boyfriend-

Plot : When Gia Montgomery's boyfriend, Bradley, dumps her in the parking lot of her high school prom, she has to think fast. After all, she'd been telling her friends about him for months now. This was supposed to be the night she proved he existed. So when she sees a cute guy waiting to pick up his sister, she enlists his help. The task is simple: be her fill-in boyfriend—two hours, zero commitment, a few white lies. After that, she can win back the real Bradley.

The problem is that days after prom, it's not the real Bradley she's thinking about, but the stand-in. The one whose name she doesn't even know. But tracking him down doesn't mean they're done faking a relationship. Gia owes him a favor and his sister intends to see that he collects: his ex-girlfriend's graduation party—three hours, zero commitment, a few white lies.

Just when Gia begins to wonder if she could turn her fake boyfriend into a real one, Bradley comes waltzing back into her life, exposing her lie, and threatening to destroy her friendships and her new-found relationship.

Spoiler Free Review: I read this recently and I definitely recommend it! It hooked me in and I was so invested in the characters. It does also tackle some hard topics such as being obsessed with social media and how you look.

2. The Selection-

Plot: For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.

But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn't want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks.

Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she's made for herself—and realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined.

Spoiler Free Review: Where to begin? This book is so perfect and I’m so obsessed. Maxon is such a sweetheart and he made my heart melt. I sent some strange messages to my friends after this because I was so in love. :)

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before-

Plot: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed.

But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister's ex-boyfriend, Josh.
As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.

Spoiler Free Review: You may have seen the Netflix book of this but I can tell you the books are way better. These books are so addictive and so enjoyable. Lara Jean and everyone around her are so quirky and you just can’t help loving them! This book series is 100/10 and I 100% recommend it!

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this and will go and read some of these books!
