Lesson Five: Our Garden Potatoes Study Guide
Chapter 6
Gnomes are pests when they enter wizard gardens. They can live up to seven to ten years & live mostly in Europe & North America. Gnomes tend to eat plants & horklumps & they are not smart. Like ants, gnomes dig connected tunnels up to one to two miles. They live as a colony & every room in the tunnel is used accordingly. To get rid of gnomes, grasp the head & swing them in a circle & let go. Once you have done this to five or six gnomes, the others will flee.
A gnome bite can occur which are not venomous, but painful. To treat a bite, use a healing paste. Another way to get rid of gnomes is to use a Jarvey. Jarvey's will eat the gnomes & the rest will flee. Some magical people such as Xenophilius Lovegood, think that gnomes do have magic in their saliva to enhance creativity.
