Fairies are self-centered creatures & get upset when their wings are detached since they think that they are unattractive without them. Fairies will battle for a mirror, so it's best to have a mirror for each fairy as it keeps them happy. Fairies like to eat leaves & they will steer clear of bowtruckles, as they will eat fairy eggs. They will lay fifty eggs & lay them on the underside of a leaf. After about one month (twenty-eight to thirty-one days), they will have wings.

Larvae wings are tiny & are green. Adult wings are big; colored such as orange or blue. Fairies mate like mammals. You do not have to have a license to trade wings. For each fairy, keep a three feet by three feet area. Their wings will grow to adult wings by four weeks (one month) & if breeding, keep ten to thirty fairies. Leaving their wings on will leave them with jagged wings. Fairies can live up to twenty years, but still look young. When a fairy is ill, they are barely energetic at grooming, wings may take eight to twelve weeks to grow, eating is in decline, & are mating more than usual. The wings of fairies are used in the Girding Potion for extra stamina.
