Today would have been James Potter’s Birthday. I don’t mean James Sirius Potter (the one that was born to Harry and Ginny Potter) I mean James Potter I, 51st birthday born to Fleamont and Euphemeia Potter.

As you may know from several of my other books James was an important person in not only my life but the life of my relatives. Ever since I have known Harry we have celebrated the birth and death of his parents. Partially because I feel as though I am responsible in some way and also because we are rumoured to be related in some way. Simply because we are descended through the Peverell brothers.

I believe that he went out with my mother and bullied my uncle so how much you believe is true I don’t know. For the last 30 years I have said HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR POTTER on this very day.

These days Harry and I are even more related than we used to be. Our children are cousins. And we are married to the same family.
