“Dylan,
get your homework done! Stop messing around or I’ll take your laptop away!”
screamed Mrs. Lorraine at her 15 year old daughter Dylan.

Dylan clutched her laptop to her
chest, “Never!” she shrieked, “I am on the seventh chapter of Harry Potter and the
Sorcerer’s Stone, it’s so addicting.
Mum, you can’t just take drugs away from a drug addict. You got to send them to
rehab where they can slowly ease off
the drugs. Sheesh” She took her laptop and scampered out of the kitchen,
slamming the door behind her.

“She’ll never understand,” Dylan
mumbled to herself before entering her room and jumping onto the bed. She
opened her laptop back up and continued reading Harry Potter online.

1 hour has passed. ‘Oh, Harry Potter is so lucky,’ Dylan
thought.

2 hours have passed. ‘I wish Hogwarts was real’

3 hours have passed. By this time
Dylan couldn’t take it anymore, she had to be a part of the wizard world one
way or the other. In no time she had the google search bar up and was already
typing in ‘Hogwarts Online School’. However, what she didn’t expect was for it
to actually work!

“Over 20,000+ students are
currently studying at Hogwarts, enroll now.” Dylan read aloud, sounding
interested. She clicked the ‘Enroll Now’. While it loaded she squirmed in
anticipation and excitement. ‘I wonder if
it will actually be like the actual Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.’
She thought, then the page finished loading.

Dylan Lorraine, Female, Birthday,
email, and password. She clicked the enter button before eagerly opening up her
email –which was already up on another tab. ‘Wait
for it, wait for it… Yes!’ In her inbox lay an unopened message that read ‘Acceptation
Letter.’

have been accepted to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Just

Knowing Dylan, you probably know
that it didn’t take long before she was clicking on the link and filling out
the excess information. Although, it took her a while to figure out what house
she was in. ‘Not Hufflepuff’ she
thought, ‘probably not Ravenclaw.’

What she couldn’t decide was
whether she should be in Slytherin or Gryffindor. Dylan knew she would pick
Gryffindor; everyone loves Gryffindor, though a small part of her was reaching
out towards Slytherin like she was meant to be placed there. Toughest Decision
yet.
