Me, You & Us
Chapter 1
Can you believe that we have been in lockdown for over a year???
So many things have happened in that time and I thought I would share with you all just how our time has been going. And how different people have reacted to the idea of “lockdown”. There hasn’t been all that much difference to be honest in the Wizarding world but I’ll give it a try.
LOUISA WEASLEY (me): My main difference was not being able to go to the Elvish Kingdom as much as Grapa does not want cross contamination load of bull but we keep to it. To keep myself occupied I have started writing as you can no doubt understand, learning languages and reading. I help out at the Shop with George and Ron but we use the Bubble-head charm when we are out (Official Ministry Notice). As every-one on here knows I have taken to learning a few more Muggle ways that my grandfathers used to use. I now understand a lot more about computers, lights, and microwaves (got Arthur one for his birthday).
CHARLIE WEASLEY: Charlie has managed to be as contained as anyone and it was his idea for me to start writing. He has started to not down a few things as well. I think he fancies himself as a Dragonologist Newt Scamander as he has been writing a few things down about our travels and helping at the Magical Creatures Shop.
SEVIE WEASLEY (aged 11): Went off to Hogwarts in September and was sorted into Gryffindor. We were very lucky to have her back at Christmas and is now, hopefully, working hard. She gets to be with lots of people and very little has changed for them as the school is in their little Bubble anyway.
BERTIE WEASLEY (aged 10): At home in London, Bertie has had his school for many years. Sometimes he heads down into the basement to help his Uncle George or Me with anything Potion related and other times we go to the shop. He has also taken a keen interest writing which is partially because I am doing so much of it and partially because he sends OWLs to Sevie.
GEORGE WEASLEY: I don’t know why but George transfigured some stick into golf clubs and charmed the wall in the shop to look like a golf course. It started a few months ago at the start of lockdown. Like most things this has now gotten completely out of hand and he now thinks that he will make a range of “sports charms for lockdown”. Now he (and let’s face it none of us can stop playing with these games).
DRACO MALFOY: Draco is probably the one I have missed seeing the most. As my best friend we saw each-other every day. He has been living at Malfoy Manor since Astoria died and since being there he has taken up full use of the Music Room and playing as much guitar as possible.
The Ministry is very quiet I only go in on the odd occasion. It’s strange not to see the usual buzz of people. I hope you have all been ok, Let me know if there are other people you want me to include in this list.
