I have my head in the book once again. I'm walking around the park were sophomores can spend their free period time at. I usually come here even if it's cold, rainy, or snowy because the park is beautiful in any weather. I would usually sit on the polished, wooden bench but today was such a beautiful day I thought I'd walk around and take in the sun, while I read a new book I checked out from the library. It was about a couple who were deeply in love but their families were enemies and banned for them to see each other again. It was so interesting that I didn't see where I was walking and me being very clumsy, ran into a tree. My book flew from my hands as I hit the tree and I bounced back onto the grass. I rubbed my head and got up, dusting myself off. The other sophomores laughed at me and ran and grabbed my book while I fixed my reading glasses.
"Ooh, look what I have here", one of the girls in my grade said smiling.
"Give it back Marcy", I said now getting tired of them making my life miserable.
"I don't think I will Clara. Look girls what the worm was reading." She said and her gossip group snickered as Marcy showed them my book.
"Aw another romance book huh Clara. You really are that lonely that you have to read a book about love to feel happy." said one of the other girls sneering a smile as she read the back of the book.
"Aw look, another self absorbed girl. You really are that lonely to be hanging out with anyone who will pretend to be your friend just to feel like you do have friends. What a pity Ethel" I said fiercely.
Her smile faded into a disgusted look. I smiled at her and I could practically see smoke coming out from her ears. Ethel dropped the book in anger and I took my chance. I ran and swooped it up from the grass as she was still steaming. She tried grabbing me by my hair but I quickly stood up and ran from them. I ran to the park tables on another side of the park and looked back to see what they were doing. They must have decided to leave me alone after my remark. I smiled and sat at one of the tables and opened my book. I found where I had left off and started to read.

Aden went against his parents' words as he strode out to Emilia's house. He couldn't just stay away from the love of his life just because of their parents. He tapped on her window and waited. She opened the window and her yellow blonde hair danced in the wind. Once she saw him, her sleepy face turned to a grinning smile.
"What are you doing here? If my parents see you they'll be furious." she said as he stepped through her window into her room.
"Aren't you glad to see me?" he said grinning widely.
He pulled her into a hug and kissed the top of her forehead.

"Hey I saw what you did back there and not going to lie that was pretty funny" said a boy behind me who made me jump from the seat.
I looked around to see a boy around my age or even older smiling at me as he sat on the table. He had dark, short hair and a big smile. He seemed to be quite tall and skinny. I was skeptical because I had never seen this boy before and I knew practically everyone. My town was pretty small and there wasn't too much people who would travel here.
"um.. thanks i guess" I said unsure how to respond.
"I'm Lucas Gidin" he said extending his hand.
"Clara Moon" I said shaking his hand slightly not wanting to be rude.
