Chapter Twenty-Two: The Song
Chapter 22
At Hogsmeade, Sara told Draco, “I.. er... wrote something for you.”
“Like.. a song?” He asked. “Yeah.” She responded. “Not here, though. Not in front of all these people. I have stage fright.” They finished their butterbeers, then exited Three Broomsticks, resting at a spot near the Shrieking Shack. “Okay, one second.” She ran off. She shortly came back with an acoustic guitar. She cleared her throat, and began to sing in a quiet, but lovely voice-
“I will always remember
The day you kissed my lips
That night in December
From behind you grabbed my hips
So much has happened since then
And we’ve done it together
I’ll always remember when
You said, ‘I’ll love you forever’”
Sara started to sing more powerfully, the beautiful part of her voice showing more. Draco gaped.
“You’ll always have a place in my heart
You always have from the start
You’ll always have a place in my heart
We’ll never fall apart”
She stopped strumming. “Tada...” She let out a nervous smile. “That was amazing, I love it!” He tackled her, kissing her. He pulled away. “And I love you.” She smiled. “Now, we have to go. The third task is starting soon.”
