Chapter Eighteen: The Yule Ball Pt. 1
Chapter 18
“The Yule Ball is a tradition of the Triwizard Tournament. “On the night of Christmas, we and our guests shall gather in the Great Hall for a night of friendship and well-mannered frivolity. It is an occasion for... er, letting our hair down.” McGonnagall explained. She continued speaking. “Mr. Weasley. Place your arm around my waist.”
“Pardon?”
“My waist.”
Then Filch played European waltz music, and Fred, George and Sara mimicked Ron, dancing with imaginary partners. Draco let out a laugh. “You’re never going to let him forget about this, are you?” Harry asked them. “Never.” The three said in unison.
“So who are you going with? Sorry, stupid question.” Hermione asked Sara. They both looked at Draco. “For your information, he hasn’t asked me yet.”
“Sara, will you go to the Yule Ball with me?” Draco walked up to them. Hermione winked at Sara. “Of course I will.”
When he walked away, Sara told Hermione, “I think I know who wants to go with you to the Yule Ball.” She grinned. “Viktor-Krum-The-Quidditch-Man.” They laughed together. “Very funny. And yes, I’m going with him.”
“Someone will be jealous.” She wiggled her eyebrows. “Ron? No he won’t.”
“Mhm...” Sara grinned
“Pardon?”
“My waist.”
