Chapter Seventeen: The First Task
Chapter 17
“I wonder how Harry was chosen.” Sara told Hermione. “He obviously didn’t get someone to put his name in for him.”
“Exactly, I didn’t.” Harry appeared between them. “We need to look at suspects. It couldn’t have been the leader of Durmstrang or Beauxbatons. They wouldn’t want Hogwarts to have an extra champion.” Sara thought aloud.
“Let’s talk about this later! Im going to face dragons!”
“I can’t believe you missed the first task.” Ginny told Sara. “I was... uhm... studying... and I lost track of time.”
“Just because you were making out with Malfoy in the library does not mean you were studying.” She rolled her eyes.
“How did you know?” She asked Ginny.
“You’re my best friend. I know you.”
“Awww, you’re my best friend too.” Sara grinned. “Not the point.” Ginny dismissed this. “Rude.” She laughed.
