Chapter Thirteen: The Three Little Words
Chapter 13
“Sirius Black is Harry’s godfather?” Sara gasped. “Yes.” Said Ron and Hermione in unison. “Holy Mother of God! Lemonade?” She held out a pitcher. “Made it myself.”
“Ooh, thanks.” Ron grinned. “By the way, Sara, what happened with that boggart? Who was that?” Harry walked up to them. “My mother. She isn’t the kindest person. She is nice around my father... but when we’re alone... she says I’m a mistake and that she should have never had a child. She hits me whenever I do something wrong. Even the tiniest thing!”
“That’s awful.” Hermione said. “Enough about me, though. Wait. Where’s Ron?” “HELP! IT’S THE GRIM!” Ron shouted. “It’s coming from the Whomping Willow! I’ll go get help, you guys get to Ron!” Sara sprinted to the castle. She was about to get help from McGonnagall when she ran into Pansy. “Listen up, freak. You can’t just steal Draco sway from me like that.” She growled. “Now is not the time, Parkinson!” She snarled back. “No! You listen to me! He is mine, so back off, and then we can be friends!” Pansy snapped. “Don’t you get it? I DON’T TO BE FRIENDS WITH A DUMB-ASS BITCH!” Sara yelled. She ran away from Sara. “I’m super tired now.” Her legs wobbled. “Jelly legs going down!” Sara collapsed. She felt familiar, strong arms pick her up before she went unconscious.
Sara woke up in the Slytherin Common Room, tired and weak. “Thought you wouldn’t wake up, princess. Said a voice next to her. It was Draco. “Pansy put a Bewitched Sleep charm on you. You okay?”
“No, not really, I’m really tired.” She yawned. “Well, you were asleep for three days.”
“THREE DAYS?”
Draco nodded. “Pretty lonely without you.”
He walked over to her, since he was on the opposite side of the couch. He sat next to her, and she kissed him passionately. He put his hand on her cheek as they kissed, and she put her arms around his neck. It became less gentle and more hungry. When Draco pulled away, he said the three big words:
“I love you.”
Sara’s eyes began to water as she smiled. “Really?”
“Really. I loved you ever since we went on our first date. I loved you during Christmas when you hit me in the face with a snowball. I loved you during Halloween, when you scared the living daylights out of me. I have always loved you. I will never stop until my heart gives out.”
“I love you too.” Sara sobbed, hugging him tight. “You’re always there for me when I need you. I’ll love you even when we’re dead. I was always afraid to love someone, because I was afraid I would screw everything up. But I met you, and that changed my whole perspective on what love means.”
They stayed there, hugging each other until they fell asleep, legs intertwined and arms wrapped around each other.
