Chapter 3
House Point Heros
Hogwarts students have been working hard for years, and harder work comes with better grades. Today, we are going to take a look at some of Hogwarts’ top students, to get their opinions on the classes here.
Staraptor, Ravenclaw, third year, shares their Experience. "Yes, I'm very proud because they are the result of my effort," Staraptor tells me when asking if they were proud of her house points. Staraptor has 6.297 house points, that is a lot! " Getting those house points took me approximately 10 months in real life," Staraptor explained. "It was mainly dependent on the speed of correction in each subject."
Another student, Timothy Walsh, shares their story as well. With 6,961 House points, Timothy has the most points in year 4 out of anyone. However, "The points were reset to zero most recently after the fifth house cup was awarded about three years ago," Timothy said.
Staraptor and Timothy both have done outstandingly in collecting points for their house. But are some classes easier than others? "In my opinion, there were no "easiest" subjects." Staraptor begins. "The ones I really enjoyed were Alchemy and Herbology, being easier for me to understand. But the others also deserve credit. The hardest for me to understand," Staraptor continues, "was Astronomy and Ancient Runes. They demanded a lot of reading, attention, and reading again." For Timothy, the most challenging subjects were herbology and Ancient runes. "because some plants look too much alike for me to be able to distinguish them from their pictures," He answered. "And the same is true for Egyptian hieroglyphics."
Timothy Walsh and Staraptor have both done remarkably well in their classes, and I am thankful for the chance to speak with them. These top students definitely must make their Head of House very proud, And they would like to share a few more words with all of you!
"I'm a grader for the Astronomy course here on HiH. If anyone has any questions about the course, just send me a message," Timothy mentions. And Staraptor shares her own words of advice. "Study hard and work on your subjects at your own pace :)”
