Sorting Harry Potter Characters Into MBTI - Part Three (Entrainment)

Chapter 8
Myers Briggs Personalities

Here are the traits for those who want to know or need to be reminded:

E/I - Extroverted/Introverted
N/S - Intuitive/Sensing
F/T - Feeling/Thinking
J/S - Judging/Perceiving

Severus Snape - INTJ

Snape would be an INTJ. He is introverted, intuitive, thinking, and judging. He is very introverted, as he does not like being disturbed and prefers to be alone in his studies or thoughts. He is intuitive because he prefers to read and think rather than use his five senses to figure out the world, and he has an incredible mind and willpower. He is thinking, as even though he feels for Lily Potter, he still harasses his students and puts them through physical violence just because he doesn’t like them, showing that he is not feeling. He is judging, as he doesn’t like people just because their parents were nice to him, so he assumes that the children are the same.

Luna Lovegood - INFP

Luna would be an INFP. She is introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving. She is an introvert as she is a loner, and she doesn’t seem to mind being completely alone. She is intuitive as she is imaginative and curious, shown when she talks about her father and the false magical creatures that they make up. She is feeling, as she is nice even to those who aren’t towards her, and sympathizes with others easily. She is perceiving as she is more flexible, relaxed, and doesn’t seem to fit with the societal norm.

Rubeus Hagrid - ISFP

Hagrid would be an ISFP. He is introverted, sensing, feeling, and perceiving. He is an introvert as he does love being alone with his pets and studying them, as well as being alone and baking rocks. He is sensing, since I don’t think he’s intuitive due to the fact that he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, and he seems to be able to identify things by using his five senses, not by logic. He is feeling, as he feels for Dumbledore and is loyal to him and he’s loyal to Harry. He’s also not a thinker for… obvious reasons. He is perceiving because even though he seems to judge people, his overall lifestyle is very messy and convoluted, therefore he is a perceiver.

That’s all for now!
