Zip-a-Dee-Buh-Bye: A Farewell to an Iconic Disney Attraction. (Entertainment)
Chapter 3
Disney has officially announced that Splash Mountain, one of the most iconic rides in Disney Parks, will be completely re-themed. The wild wet animal ride that follows Brer Rabbit, will now become a Princess and the Frog themed ride. One of the most obvious reasons of this change is due to the fact that the ride was based on “The Song of the South,” which was racist. Plans for the Princess and the Frog ride have NOT been announced yet.
