When we gazed at first sight baby, I knew it was Love at Last
You walked on over me, and asked me to dance, I couldn't refuse, and you spun me out
I guess I lost my heart, and I gave it to you
Then the time comes, when we are torn apart
You leave, without giving me anything
But then when I think about it, I guess I was just another girl
But then months past, and you came back
You took me out for dinner, you took me out to brunch
Then one year later, you proposed
I said no, because I knew I wasn't in love with you anymore, nor were you
For I had met some one else, And you had cheated on me
I made the right choice, for you stepped all over me
I don't have any regret, it was a nice lesson
And now I stand tall and proud
I may not have someone by my side, for I have me
Now that I think about it, it was a cute little story
