~Dylan's pov.~
I hug Liv while my Pa is o the phone. My Ma whispers to him and then we see a white Jeep coming our way. Olivia gasps and quickly gets up. She grabs the knife but gives it to me. "My aunt and aunt are here..." She whispers and helps me up. "Liv!!" This blond women with short hair come over to us. She looks like she needs some sun. "Hi, Ava..." Liv says quietly as Ava hugs her. "Cassia and I missed you so much!! We can't wait for you to live with us in Alaska. You're going to love it!!" Cassia comes out and she is a brown-haired woman a bit taller than Ava.
Cassia puts her hand around Ava's waist. "I'm happy to see you, Olivia. Ava has told me so many stories about you!!" Then it clicks. My dad was calling them to the place we are. Liv backs up to me and holds my hand. "Ava, Cassia this is Dylan...my boyfriend." I look at her stunned. She didn't want a relationship and now she does. This doesn't feel right. I take my hand back and Liv looks at me in confusion. "Liv, we are done...Make up your mind. I'll see you one day..."
I walk away from her and from her aunt's. Pa and Ma get in the car and we drive away from them. From Liv.
~Olivia's pov.~
Ava helps me into their SUV. I sit in the back and have my bag next to me. "So, we need to buy you some new clothes because of the cold weather," Cassia says and drives and holds Ava's hand. "Yeah...I guess so..." "Olivia what's wrong??" Ava asks and turns so she can see me. "It's nothing..." "Is it because Dylan broke up with you??" I shake my head. "Well, that's part of it..." "Liv," Cassia says. "We know that your mother is gone. We know that your father killed her and is in jail."
I look out the window and hold myself together. They get I don't want to talk anymore so they let it drop. They start talking and stop at a gas station. They fill up the gas tank and kiss each other before getting back in the car. "How long have you 2 been married??" I ask then after 30 minutes of silence. "About 2 years now!!" Ave says and Cassia laughs and grabs her hand. "We sent an invitation to you but your parents never came." "Oh...my dad wouldn't let us."
Ava sighed. "I guessed that much. He wasn't a good man even before he started drinking but your other was too in love to see clearly and now she paid the price." That hits me like a wall. "My mother was an amazing woman!! How dare you say that!!" "Liv, that wasn't what I meant. I loved her but she was in love and sometimes you can't stop that." That ends the conversation and we continue driving.
