For ths, the blame lies on the books as well. There are shockingly few Ravenclaws (and even fewer Hufflepuffs) that have dialogue in the books. Plus, all 3 Ravenclaw Professors at Hogwarts were VERY unpopular. (Quirrell, Lockhart, and Trelawney).
Next we’re portrayed as double-crossers and irritators. Quirrell is said to be a villain, but in a Pottermore article it essentially states that Quirrell was possessed. As for Lockhart, no defense can be made. Trelawney is made out to be a fraud even though she’s a REAL AND TRUE Seer. Luna is perfect the way she is. Cho is just a girl who’s grieving the loss of her boyfriend and was incorrectly shown in the Order of the Phoenix movie to have betrayed the D.A. Marietta Edgecombe is also just a victim, having been forced to join the D.A. even though her mother worked at the Ministry. Then she “betrayed” the D.A. You technically don’t have proof that she rooted them out, besides Umbridge’s word which isn’t worth anything. For all we know she was given Veritaserum or maybe even tortured! Lasly, Padma Patil, who was (incorrectly) placed into Gryffindor in the movies, rather than her TRUE House (Ravenclaw). Slytherins, I feel your pain.
