Dear Reader,
This book is intended for multiple purposes. The very first is to educate you on the various breeds of dragon in the world. This is no means a full list of all the dragons, and most chapters will not go into the full history behind each dragon. The second purpose is to allow various dragon observers to have a handbook with them, so that we may eliminate as many needless death and injuries as possible. As far as we know, nothing of this variety has been published with any sense of realism. We urge you to disregard any information you have gathered of this variety from any authors who do not have the credentials to back them up. Gilderoy Lockhart’s section on Dragon in “Magical Me!” to name one. Many books of that variety have already been discredited, such as the aforementioned book, but are still in circulation and still being used as a reliable resource. We urge any of you serious about pursuing a career around dragons to read through this book and keep it on hand.
