House Pride - Hufflepuff Common Room (Part 8) (Informational)
Chapter 13
The Hufflepuff Common Room, or the Hufflepuff Basement, is considered the coziest common room out of all the common rooms. It is called this because the common room sports many decorations such as nature, copper, and the colors yellow and black. Since the common room is one floor below ground level, the students are way more sheltered from the elements than the other houses.
The entrance to the Hufflepuff Common Room is located to the right side of the kitchen and is hidden behind a stack of barrels. You can not get in the common room with a password, but to get into the common room you have to tap barrel two from the bottom, middle of the second row, in the rhythm of “Helga Hufflepuff.” However, if you do the rhythm wrong, you will be sprayed with vinegar. The common room itself is around, low-ceiling, earthy, welcoming, and sunny room. There is also lots of yellow hangings, burnished copper, overstuffed sofas, and armchairs that are upholstered with yellow and black fabric. There are also circular windows in the common room that can provide a view of rippling grass and dandelions.
