Chapter 1
-She made 2 individual, actually real prophecies about Harry Potter that both came true
-She predicted Neville would break a cup, which he did
-In Half-Blood Prince, she shuffles some playing cards in some form of Divination, and correctly divines the outcome of Half-Blood Prince: Two of spades: conflict… Seven of spades: an ill omen. Ten of spades: Violence. Knave of spades: a dark young man, possibly troubled. -Sybill Trelanwey. The end of the book does indeed involve conflict (Battle with Death Eaters at Hogwarts), an ill omen (Dumbledore’s demise), violence, (Snape kills Dumbledore), a dark young man, possibly troubled, (Either Snape or Draco). She also then draws “The Lightning Struck Tower” Dumbledore did die at the top of the tower by the Avada Kedavra. The chapter is also entitled, “The Lightning Struck Tower”
-She predicts Lavender’s terror on Friday the 16th of October; Lavender then finds out that she lost her rabbit on the 16th
-She sees the Grim in Harry’s cup; an Omen of death; Harry does indeed die (technically)
-She predicts that Professor Umbridge is in grave danger; Umbridge then gets attacked by centaurs and sacked.
-She also sees several other things in Harry’s cup before the Grim: “The falcon; you have a deadly enemy” “The Club: an attack.” “The skull: danger in your path” Harry does indeed have a deadly enemy; Voldemort. He is attacked several times by Dementors. He does face danger in his path; dementors again.
-She predicts Hermione will leave Divination around Easter, which she does
-She tells Dumbledore that she saw that Professor Lupin would not be with them much longer; he did indeed resign and leave Hogwarts
-She tells Parvati “Beware a red-headed man” This might be referring to Ron about how he treated her sister at the Yule Ball
-She also says to Harry “ My inner eye sees past your brave face to the troubled soul within.” Harry is worried about the prophecy in his 3rd year about the return of Lord Voldemort, but does not show it.
