House Pride - Gryffindor Common Room (Part 7) (Informational)
Chapter 13
The Gryffindor Common Room is located in the Gryffindor Tower, which is one of the three tallest towers of Hogwarts. The common room is hidden behind a portrait on the Gryffindor Landing. The portrait is a portrait of the Fat Lady who guards the Gryffindor common room from outsiders. To enter the common room, a person must present the Fat Lady with the correct password. If the person presents the wrong password, that student must wait for someone else to give them the password.
The common room is decorated with armchairs and tables. This common room is colored in several shades of red. There is also a large fireplace on one of the walls of the common room. The fireplace is connected to the Floo Network, but it is a extremely public place in the daytime. The walls of the common room are decorated with scarlet tapestries that illustrate witches, wizards, and animals.
