Lilac’s Advice Column #2 (Entertainment)
Chapter 10
Hey and welcome back to Lilac’s Advice Column!!! Once again, the questions will have a Q next to them, and my answers will have an A next to them. Well, let’s get on with it!
Q: How do you become friends with a boy without it being weird? (coming from a girl's perspective) -Alethea VanDemark, Hufflepuff
A: I would start by finding common ground. Start by seeing if you have anything in common. Keep in mind that boys tend to bond better over activities, so see if there are any activities you both enjoy. Then, let everything else happen as it would if you were becoming friends with a girl. The way of making friends is very similar between all genders. If you ever happen to get teased, brush it off and make sure everyone know you are just friends. What matters most is the friendship between you and this boy. Good luck making a new friend!
Q: I'm almost done with my first year at Hogwarts and I'm wondering if I should continue doing courses one at a time or all of them scheduled for one lesson per class every week? -Lily Lavender, Gryffindor
A: First of all, congrats on almost finishing your first year! Great job. Now, for your question, I would do them one lesson per class per week. This is just my personal preference, but I think that it work really well with scheduling. Plus, you shouldn’t feel like you have to knock out one class. Also, it will make you feel more organized and you will probably be tidier. If you don’t agree with my judgement, try making a pros and cons list. This will help you see the benefits and disadvantages of both approaches. Have fun in your second year!
That’s all for this issue! Thank you to Alethea VanDemark and Lily Lavender for participating in this week’s issue. As this series relies on reader involvement, please write to me here:
