Bathilda Bagshot is the famous author who wrote A History of Magic. She died on about December 1997 and was posessed by Voldemort and his snake, Nagini. The most famous scene that includes Bathilda Bagshot was when Harry Potter and Hermione Granger was in Deathly Hallows when Bagshot lured them in and tried to attack them.
