Chapter 1

Oliver and Olivia Indigo searched through their uncle's attic for items to sell in their family's yard sale, finding nothing of particular interest. Oliver and Olivia were born identical twins, both with messy brown hair, the same complexion, and the same physical detail. The only way you could tell them apart was by their genders.

"Have you found anything yet, Olly?" Olivia mustered through the thick cloud of dust swirling through the air.

"Not a thing, Liv," Oliver mumbled, enthralled by a passage in one of the many books their uncle had stored up there. The Indigo twins were well known in their town, Hometown, New Jersey for their extraordinary reading abilities. If they wanted to, they could probably read "Les Miserables" in a week and understand the entire book.

"Olly, we're supposed to be looking for things to put in the yard sale!"

  "I am..."

"Then your not reading Uncle Henry's copy of 'Mockingjay?'"

  "No."

  "Oh, really?"

Olivia trekked to where Oliver was kneeled down over the box of books, magazines, and newspapers titled, "READING STUFF." She pulled the book out of his hand and pushed it back into it's place in the box. "If your not going to look for books to sell, I will."

She bent down and began sorting through the books, from the great classics that Uncle Henry had strictly told them to keep, to the books that she and Oliver might have an interest in reading, to the magazines and newspapers that would go to the recycling plant, and to the books that were to be sold later that afternoon.

At the very bottom of the box, there was a book that had the cover tattered and torn; it was incredibly thick and the cover was illegible. It looked sacred.

"What is that?" Olly asked; he had never seen a book like this before.

"I don't know, but I think we should ask Uncle Henry before we even think about putting it it the sale."
