Thank you for all the extra Birthday wishes for Bertie. It isn’t the easiest of years COVID making it difficult but also because most people are now at school in Hogwarts. Yesterday I pondered … What was my life like when I was his age how different was it? When I thought about it wasn’t until I was 10 ½ that I even knew when my birthday was I had never celebrated it before and never cared to.

If I had had a cake it would have been made of chocolate and possibly by the elves in the school kitchens. It’s weird to think about but if I could I would have had Mrs Weasley make something or resurrect my parents in order to bake me a cake. Stupid wishful thinking. That’s my list and I reckon I would have found it normal. What I found strange was having a birthday at all.
