Course Selection
Chapter 2
As a first year, you have (Unfortunately) Not much flexibility when it comes to course selection. All seven courses that are immediately available to you are required. These are: Charms,Potions,Herbology,History of Magic,Defense Against the Dark Arts,Transfiguration and Astronomy. You can enroll in as many classes as you want,at your leisure. The recommended amount is One At A Time.Don't try to take on all seven at once,as you will quickly find yourself losing track of what lessons you are on.It is much easier to focus on one subject, than seven.
Once you have chosen your subject you may begin Lesson one,Your introduction, and be sure to play close attention to what is expected of you in this course.Do you need textbooks? If so,Which ones? What are you expected to know at the end of this course? What is the grading rubric? All of these things will be very useful to you in your coming lessons.
