Sorting TVD Characters into Hogwarts Houses
There are some of the popular Vampire Diaries characters sorted into Hogwarts houses. This is based off their traits during the show. Against each character there are some Harry Potter characters who somewhat resemble their traits. Vampire Diaries was one of the most watched series on the CW network. The supernatural teen drama was adapted from a series of books by L.J. Smith. There aren't only lots of Slytherins in the bunch. We also have brave Gryffindors, true Hufflepuffs, and even a clever Ravenclaw or two. Here's the characters of The Vampire Diaries sorted into their Hogwarts houses.
Elena Gilbert:
Though she looks like a Gryffindor, according the most of the sites she is a Hufflepuff, because she is loyal to all her friends. Still, she has a hint of Gryffindor bravery from when she put Matt’s life before her’s.
According to Quora, she is a damsel in distress and everything she gets is given to her from someone else.
I sorted her into Hufflepuff.
Damon Salvatore:
There is no surprise when I say that Damon Salvatore is in Slytherin. He has every trait. He is ambitious, cunning, resourceful, and does not believe in playing nice.
He has a crooked way of doing things to save Elena. Damon also has patience when he waits decades before he frees Katherine from the tomb.
I sorted him into Slytherin.
Stefan Salvatore:
Stefan Salvatore is no doubt a chivalrous person (except with his humanity off). Loyal , patient, and hardworking, he puts his loved ones’ lives before his own.
Without waiting, I sorted him into Hufflepuff.
Katherine Pierce:
To Katherine Pierce, the only thing matters is how to live another day. It doesn’t matters who gets in her way, she just wants to survive.
According to Quora, she is a Ravenclaw. Not every vampire can be on the run for 500 years.
I ended up sorting her into Slytherin.
Bonnie Bennett:
Whenever there is a problem in the life of TVD characters, they go straight to the Bennett witch.
She helped her friends whenever she could, even if it meant giving up her life. She has every quality of a Gryffindor, as well as some loyalty, which is a Hufflepuff trait.
I sorted her into Gryffindor.
Caroline Forbes:
Caroline is a all rounder. She is brave, intelligent, ambitious, kind, loyal, and a hard worker. She always wanted to go to college and have a simple job despite the supernatural things going on around her. She achieved her goal.
After thinking considerably, I sorted her into Slytherin.
Alaric Saltzman:
Starting as a history teacher in Mystic Falls, Alaric came in search of his missing wife, Isobel. He is devoted to the pursuit of knowledge. He is a go-to person for info when someone is confronted with a powerful nemesis.
I sorted him in Ravenclaw.
Klaus Mikaelson:
Klaus Mikaelson - the great evil. He is ambitious, ruthless, manipulative, and power-hungry. He will do anything to be powerful and ended up becoming the most powerful in the world as a hybrid.
He is also very possessive of his family and the people that he loves. He makes no compromises when it comes to the safety of his family.
I sorted him into Slytherin.
Tyler Lockwood:
Tyler Lockwood was the first hybrid for Klaus’ army. He was a sire to Klaus. To break that sire bond, he went up to a mountain and transformed into a werewolf many times. He also had to break every bone in his body many times.
So, I sorted him into Gryffindor.
