I have written about many of my sister in laws, brother in laws and their children. I have written about the others but realised I had not actually written about Angelina other than in passing thank you for the photos. It took me and Angelina a long time to get used to each other. Perhaps we felt that each were treading on the others toes or something. The truth was simple. I dated George but it turned out we were always just friends rather than Angelina who was destined to marry him and have 2 amazing kids with him.

Angelina Johnson was born in October 1977 and when she arrived at Hogwarts in September 1989, she was sorted into the house of Godric Gryffindor, the house of the brave, the courageous, the ambitious & the determined. She was sorted into the same year as Fred and George Weasley, this of course being the year above me. The first time that I met her was when Charlie and Hagrid took me to Fred and George’s Birthday Party in April 1990.

She soon became part of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team along with Charlie, Fred & George Weasley, Katie Bell, Alicia Spinnet and Oliver Wood, and was always commented as being one of the best on the team. By the time she was on the team I was an official student of Hogwarts but that hadn’t stopped her giving me the odd tips and tricks on flying.

What I do know is that we did have trouble getting on. From what I know about her now that I’m older, and potentially wiser I know that we often played the same Quidditch position, dated the same guy, were in the same house and we are possibly too much alike.

To Angelina Weasley. I know that you and I will always be friends. Even when the world seems to fall down around us.
