Run
When I hear the word run, I think what am I running from?
I answer,
I am running from my demons
I'm running from them because it's easier to run than to deal
I'm not usually a runner but I have to this time
This time it may hurt to deal with my demons
Running is the best thing to do right now
Later in my life,
I may fight and not run
Right now, I'm going to run
Running is easier and I'm sorry
It's too difficult to deal with the right now
I will deal with them soon, so I can feel better again
I can't talk to anyone about it; no one cares for me and how I feel
No one checks in on me; I check up on them but I don't get the same back
If they care, they aren't doing a good job at showing it
I want to feel happy again
I want people to care about me again
Since they don't, I run
