Bars And Public Toilet Kisses (Contains Vague References To Sex)
Chapter 1
Sweetness, the smell of perfume on my lips;
the taste of lipstick on my skin
is like a tattoo, a reminder of what has been.
And I am drunk on fruity cocktails and the dry smoke in the air
The bright lights and the thump of music.
Your hands on mine are like possession
are like the truth. For the first time I can see
clearly.
Manicured nails and short hair (short skirts) you are what I have been searching for.
Smudged makeup and heated kisses in the bathroom
I am on fire. Burning up under your gaze
The truth is like a wildfire and I am burning up under your gaze.
I have been told this is wrong. This is wrong. I cannot see how this is wrong any more,
when your gaze makes me smile and gasp in pleasure.
The sweet cocktails and the air of the bar are stifling and I cannot
Will not go on.
I can see you smile and you know me. More than anyone know's me.
We have been together for less than a minute.
Less than an hour. Less than a day.
You know me. The sparkle in your eye, the glint and you know me better than my friends.
My family.
You know me and I am entranced by the soft touch of your hand to mine.
And I am told that this is wrong. Taboo. Only for male gaze and male pleasure.
In you I see me, reflected like a mirror.
The sighs and sights of the bar and the cocktails on my lips. I am whole again.
