How J.K chose the names
J.K Rowling chose the name Potter by chance. Her neighbors were called Potter, so she decided to name Harry's family as well.
The name Hermione comes from an account. J.K Rowling gave his name because the name had to represent a nasty name.
The name Ron: The name Ron comes from the history of King Arthur, because Ron's father is called Arthur, the sword of Arthur Ron, sister Genevière (Ginny) and Perçy which means Perceval.
So much for the golden trio!
