Chapter 12
Resumed Story of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is the magical school in the USA, located in the northeast of the country. It was founded between 1620 and 1634 by the witch Isolt Sayre and the muggle James Steward. They started teaching their adoptive sons, Chadwick and Webster Boot. Sometime later, the Indians in the vicinity heard about them and took some of their children (magical children, of course) to learn magic. Each integrant of the family choose a name for each house: Chadwick choose the Thunderbird, Webster, Wampus, Isolt, Horned Serpent, but, as James was a muggle, he hadn’t a connection with magical creatures, so he choose Pukwudgie, by the things about them that Isolt had told him. Ilvermorny´s uniform is blue and cranberry red. Blue was Isolt´s favourite colour, and it’s also Ravenclaw´s principal colour in Hogwarts, to which the witch wished she had belonged. The second color was in honor of James's favorite sweet, the cranberry pie.
