"Where do I go," said a confused Lily, a young witch, who was on her way, to her first year to Hogwarts, and she was eagerly excited. "I know," said a kid, with Black hair sticking up in the back. "Will you show me, please? My parents are Muggles, so they left me here," asked Lily hopefully. The boy with the black hair pointed to a brick wall par ahead of him and said," You run your cart, and yourself, straight through there, I'll do it first then you can go!" Lily sighed and mumbled, "Ok." The boy put his cart in front of himself, and ran into the brick wall post. "Here I go," mumbled Lily under her breath. Lily took a deep breath, and ran. 

   "That was amazing! I can't believe I did that!! I wasn't expecting it," said Lily. Lily was in a little glass seated room, with three boys, the boy had met up with friends and told her she can sit with then. Lily thanked him, and boarded the train. Now, they sat, as a cart came by, and the boy  ordered chocolate frogs for his friends. Lily looked down at her feet, wishing she bought him one, but knew she had only just met him. "And, I'll have one more please," said the boy. Lily looked at him hopefully. The boy looked upon Lily and said,"Do you want one?" Lily looked upon at him happy and replied," If you want to." "You can have it I don't mind," he said handing it to her. She took it and smiled, saying," Thanks." The boy said," By the way, my name is James Potter, First Year," he pointed to a boy with black hair too, "that's Sirius Black, First Year," then he pointed to a boy  with brown hair," and that's Remus Lupin, a First year too." "Nice to meet you all, I'm Lily Evans, and I'm also a First Year," said Lily. 

   Lily looked around excited and exclaimed, "We're here! We're here at last!" Sirius looked at her in suprise of her exciment "Calm down, Lily!" "I'm just really happy to be here!! I hope I'm Gryffindor," said Liky, staring off in space. The boys chorused, "Me too." 

  "Here we are," said Professor Litan, the Gryffindor Heaf of House, and the Care if Magical Creatures teacher. "Now when your name is called, you will go through that door," she said pointing to a door, "and enter the stage, then you will sit in the stool, where Professor Slughorn will place the hat on your head, once you have been sorted you will go to that table, and sit there, waiting for the feast to begin," said Professor Litan, "Any questions?" Nobody raised their hands or talked, seeing as the Professor made it very clear of what to do, but then a student spoke up, "Where do we put the hat when we're finished?" The Professor smiled and said, "Thank you, Serverus, I have forgotten. Well, Professor Slughorn will take outback from you, is that all?" Everyone nodded there heads. "Well, let's go," said Professor Litan. "Lily Evans," said a deep male voice. Lily entered the stage, looking very frightened, all heads turned toward her, and she looked as she were about to pass out. Lily sat in the stool, then Slughorn placed a hat upon her head. A voice boomed from above Liky's head, and Lily was quite surprised at that, "GRYFFINDOR!" The three boys came upon next, each if them placed in Gryffindor also. Then the boy balanced Serverus Snape, came along and was placed in Slytherin. 

   "Well, you got what you want," said Remus. "Yep," said Lily. They had just come in from the feast, needing to go to bed. Soon they all got in bed, and the night went Silent...
