Lesson Seven: Categories of Spells Study Guide

Chapter 8

The type of group a spell goes into is due to the amount of concentration, the completed object, & the proper reaction of the spell. The classifying of spells were created at a Spell work Convention in 2016. Spells that are static spells don't need much concentration. Examples of these types of spells are the Wand-Lighting Charm & the Rocket Charm. Spells that are dynamic spells need little to a lot of concentration. Examples of these types of spells are the Mending Charm & the Severing Charm.

The Severing Charm

Wand Movement: V shape & end with a swish

Concentration: Moderate

The Softening Charm

Incantation: Spongify (SPUHN-jee-fye)
Wand Movement: S shape
Willpower/Concentration: Moderate
