All Those Butterflies

Chapter 15
He leaned closer to me and my mind whirled again. I was frozen and he moved closer. The cold wind blew in my face but I still didn't move. We kissed and I figured that the butterflies might as well just follow me everywhere. They swarmed me and I felt them warm my heart. We heard the hotel door open and we pulled apart, blushing a very deep red. After we pulled back we just looked down at the ground trying not to let the other see them blushing.
The people who came outside were walking towards the parking lot. The parking lot was very big and once you got out of the maze and you wanted to go inside the hotel you passed the bench and the many bushes that swallowed the front yard. You had to walk a slanted pathway up to the clear glass doors.
"What are you two doing out here so early?" Said a very familiar voice.
I looked up already knowing who it was. I could make out the outline of Molly who was now standing by the bench looking at the two of us, but she wasn't alone. I saw Jessica's outline standing behind Molly and she sneered at me. My blood boiled and I felt angry but I released it and pretended she wasn't there.
"probably trying to get attention" Jess scoffed under her breath but I heard her.
If I looked in the mirror I would guarantee that I would see steam coming out of my ears and my face red and not from blushing. I would have looked like the devil. Molly stood uncomfortably and looked up at the stars. She may be stubborn but she would rather be on the side than in the middle. Kadin rubbed his neck uncomfortably and looked at the ground.
"Liv just had another bad nightmare so I took her out here to get fresh air." Kadin said and even though that wasn't the whole story it was very close.
It did start with my bad dream and me coming out here for fresh air so it wasn't like he was lying exactly. Jess just scoffed and I think she rolled her eyes but it was too dark.
"..uh what are you doing?" I said trying to change the subject.
Molly stopped staring at the stars and looked back down at us.
"..oh..uh..we.. we are just going to Molly's truck because I forgot my..uh.. slippers?" Jess said not really knowing what they were going to go get so it made it very interesting to know what they might actually be doing.
I looked at Molly because she's kinda bad at lying and she just glanced around in the dark and bit her lip and nodded. They were kinda weird but I honestly didn't care at that moment. I stood up and waved at them as they headed to the parking lot. Kadin got up as well and our eyes met and he rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the ground nervously as he blushed. I can't believe that the guy I saw right now was the one who stood up for me from my abusive fath..... someone I used to know.
We went back into the hotel and went to our room. I sat on my bed and looked at the floor.
"Don't let her get in your head Liv" Kadin said sitting next to me.
We smiled at each other and I saw him blush slightly. I looked back down at the ground and we sat in silence for a bit. I checked my phone for the time and it was 7:23. I probably wouldn't be able to go back to sleep now. Kadin was shifting awkwardly beside me and I looked over at him. Butterflies came back to me when he combed his hair with his fingers and he looked over at me. He blushed slightly and tried to hide it from me. I wanted to tease him but I was also blushing so I held back.
"..Liv?...." Kadin asked nervously like he was unsure of what to say.
"....yeah?..." I responded interested in what he was so unsure of.
He stayed quiet for a second probably thinking of how to say what he wanted to say. I think he was a little nervous since I was looking at him, waiting to hear what he had to say. He took a deep breath.
"About what happened outside on the bench with the kiss and everything. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable or anything I just...." he rambled so fast that I could barely make out what he was saying.
"Kadin it's fine" I said cutting him off.
"Hold on, let me finish." He said holding up his hand to silence me.
I sat there quietly so that he could finish.
"I....I just really really like you Liv and...." he said but I cut him off.
I leaned closer to him and kissed him before he could finish speaking. He stopped as soon as I started to kiss him and kissed me back. I felt butterflies everywhere as we kissed. He took it a step further by pulling me closer to him. We finally pulled apart but our foreheads were still leaning against each other.
"I really like you too" I breathed happily and we both smiled at each other.
He kissed me and I kissed him back. We laid down on my bed and I cuddled close to him. He combed through my hair with his fingers and I smiled up at him. He smiled at me and I blushed slightly. He stopped combing through my hair and touched my cheek. I knew he did that to tease me because I blushed and that made me blush even deeper.
He chuckled and his hair fell in his face and it covered his dark eyes. I scooted closer to him again and brushed his dark hair away from his eyes and looked into his eyes. He leaned closer to me and lightly kissed me. He pulled away and I sighed happily.
I cuddled up closer to him and close my eyes but not falling asleep yet because I thought that I might wake up from this dream.
"Liv?" Kadin asked.
"Yes?" I answered not opening my eyes but nodding my head slightly.
